Our Moving Company
Compassionate Relocations has a subsidiary named CR Moving Services who are the folks that actually load the moving truck, transport your belongings, and unload at your new residence. After years of contracting the moving piece to other local moving companies, we decided that we could provide a more seamless service if we had our own trucks and movers. CR Moving is family-owned and locally operated, bonded and insured. Fully licensed through the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and registered in the county of Sacramento, CR Moving takes pride in its strict adherence to the laws regarding the professional transport of household goods.

Packing Supplies
Great care is maintained while moving your belongings. Furniture pads, shrink wrap, and mattress covers to protect items from damage and dust.
Whether or not we are doing the packing for your move, we are happy to provide boxes at our cost. If you like, we can deliver them to your door. Wardrobe boxes will be supplied for free on the day of the move.

Protecting Your Belongings
It is critical to us that your belongings arrive safely. We train our staff to make sure that your belongings are packed properly, transported with care, and unloaded professionally. Should an item be damaged, we offer valuation protection. Like all licensed movers in California, we must provide limited liability coverage for your possessions while in our care.
Liability Protection
Basic Liability Insurance is provided at no cost, although the coverage is limited. It offers repair or replacement up to a maximum of $.60 per pound per article in the case of damage or loss.
If the level of protection required is greater than our basic liability coverage, we also offer our Maximum Value Protection (MVP). MVP, our optimum coverage option, gives you complete peace of mind during your move. MVP provides full replacement insurance on any item damaged or lost during your move. We will pay to replace or repair the item, which ever costs less, up to the full value of the item after the deductible, if applicable. MVP is provided for an additional cost which we can discuss at the time of your estimate.
Things to Look for when Choosing a Reputable Moving Company
• Choose a local relocation service provider
• Make sure they have a physical "bricks and mortar" business address
• Insist that they be properly licensed (They will have been issued a Cal PUC T-Number)
• Request and then verify the mover's credentials
• Make sure they have the required insurance coverage
• Avoid Too-Good-To-Be-True pricing
• Get a written quote and be sure to understand each aspect of the pricing so you can compare different bids with ease
